Author’s Notes:

• Run the first View creation SQL script. These creates views similar to what Cindy Clayton posted.

• Run the second View creation SQL script. This creates some
  additional views that we found streamlined some of the reporting needs.

• Open up the universe. You may need to right-click on the objects and
  rename them to have the appropriate database owner (instead of
  “BOadmin”). This may be “dbo” in your environment.

• Do an integrity check. You can ignore any errors for objects under
  the “System Variables” folder.

The usual caveat emptor warnings apply. Hope it’s useful.
