I have a user that is trying to create a user defined object. She clicks on the button (it is not grayed out) the cursor changes briefly, but then nothing else happens. It’s also doing this for me. However, if we go to a different universe, when we select user defined objects, we get the screen to create one. That would lead me to believe that it’s something that has been turned off in the first universe, but I can’t find it anywhere. If anyone can send me in the right direction, I would reall…

Has anyone ever experienced the following problem? I have a user that cannot create a user object when using one particular universe. But he can create a user object on other universes. When I log in I can create a user object on that particular universe, but he cannot. When he clicks on the user object he does not get the screen to create the object. Any ideas? Need Assistance. We are on 5.i. I am having difficulty creating User Objects in Business Objects on one universe. On some universes, I get the drop down box with the ‘add’ button. However, when I click on the User Objects button for our production universe (the one I need, of course!), nothing happens. I don’t see any permissions in Supervisor that have to do with Creating User Objects, and my designer says she doesn’t see any settings in the universe concerning this. So far, the Business Object…

Not sure why this isn’t in the FAQ yet we’ll have to fix that.
