Cannot See Pie/Bubble Chart Anaytics

We just installed Dashboard Creator and i am able to create all charts except pie and bubble chart analytics.

Can anyone tell me how to get it or install it? :hb: :crazy_face: :?

If you are taking about Dashboard builder the this tool does not have pai and bubble chart analytics.

what version are you using?

with XIR2 you need to install the productivity pack then you will see the pie/radar/bubble charts

If you are in XI rel3.1 , pie/bubble charts are visible only after deploying the templates.zip file.

  1.   Go to C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\java\applications.

  2.   Make a copy of the file XCTemplateUploader.war.

    1.  Paste the file in the C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Tomcat55\webapps\ directory

    2.   Wait a few seconds and you will see a new folder appear in the webapps directory called XCTemplateUploader

  3.   Go to your Apache Tomcat server URL and add /XCTemplateUploader (For example: http://hostname:8080/XCTemplateUploader/ohttp://hostname:8080/XCTemplateUploaderhttp://sj-w-01-ukumar:8090/XCTemplateUploader). Please note, "XCTemplateUploader" is case sensitive.

  4.  Authenticate using the CMS name and Administrator account.

  5.   You will be taken to the "Analytic Template Publisher for Dashboard Manager" page

  6.   Click on "Publish new Crystal Xcelsius Templates Archive (Zip file)"

  7.   Choose the ZIP files indicated below and do finish for each of them individually. Make sure the options for #Force folder creation# and #Force overwrite# are both checked when you select each zip file.

    For 3.0:
    a. C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Performance Management 12.0\setup\data_exploration_templates.zip
    b. C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Performance Management 12.0\setup\samples.zip
    c. C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Performance Management 12.0\setup\templates.zip

    For 3.1:
    a. C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Dashboard and Analytics 12.0\setup\data_exploration_templates.zip
    b. C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Dashboard and Analytics 12.0\setup\samples.zip
    c. C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Dashboard and Analytics 12.0\setup\templates.zip

  8. Log back into InfoView and go back into Performance Management and then click Create new Analytic. On the first page, if you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will now have Pie Charts, Bubble Charts, and Radar Charts and you will be able to create them.

  9. On the left hand side, you will also see new options for Data Exploration Analytics and Custom Analytics.

I’ve done the above, and yet I still dont see any pie charts etc?

We have installed xi3.1 EDGE series - does it differ on there?

You do realize, that Performance Management as product is dead though, right?
