[BOXI3.0] Pie-Bubble & Radar Chart option are not shown

Hi all members
version BOXI 3.0

In, Dashboard Analytics->Dashboard Builder->Create New Analytic

I cannot find the options for “Pie Chart, Bubble Chart and Radar Chart”

I have installed BOXI3.0 by downloading it from ESD site and taken the evaluation keys which is available on ESD.

In “Getting Started Creating Dashboards” manual of BOXI3.0, on page 7 following is written to.

[As a prerequisite, you need to:
install BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.0
have access to Dashboard and Anaytics > Dashboard Builder from
InfoView
ensure that the Bubble and Pie chart analytics have been installed]

Kindly any member guide, what these three graph options are not visible.

try this:
Deploying the Crystal Xcelsius templates
You need to manually deploy the templates for the Data Exploration, Bubble,
Pie and Radar chart analytics so that they can be used in Dashboard Builder.
To install the Bubble, Pie and Radar chart analytics, run the following
command line in the [BO_INSTALL_DIR]\Performance Management 12\setup
folder:
java -jar XCTemplateUploaderBatch.jar -cms [MACHINE_NAME]
-user [ADMIN_LOGIN_NAME] -pass [ADMIN_PASSWORD]
-fmkdir templates.zip
To install the Data Exploration analytics,run the following command line in
the [BO_INSTALL_DIR]\Performance Management 12\setup folder:
java -jar XCTemplateUploaderBatch.jar -cms [MACHINE_NAME]
-user [ADMIN_LOGIN_NAME] -pass [ADMIN_PASSWORD]
-fmkdir data_exploration_templates.zip
Note: If the password is blank, you can remove the parameter -pass in the
command line.

Maybe you have to start in folder Dashboard and Analytics 12 instead

I tried this option and unable to install it. I was getting following error:

I have copied the XCTemplateUploaderBatch.jar to tomcat webapps directory and extracted and tried to open the page, still failed.

Please let me know if we have any other options to get the templates installed.

There is a simpler process to install the templates … did you manage to install them till now? If not there is section on installing the templates in the latest 3.1. documentation for Dashboard Builder.

I have run the following command to enable them

Run following command on CMD

java -jar XCTemplateUploaderBatch.jar -cms [Server] -user Administrator -fmkdir templates.zip

java -jar XCTemplateUploaderBatch.jar -cms [SERVER] -user Administrator -fmkdir data_exploration_templates.zip

password is also required if BO Administrator has password
