I am currently in the process of ‘service packing’ our current BO setup from Business Objects 5.1.2 and Webi running against SQL Sever2K repository to BO 5.1.8 and WebI 2.7.4
The current supervisor setup was setup for a pilot 2 years ago and has proved inadequate for our expanding user base.
I have a question relating to extracting info regarding users Command Restrictions in Supervisor.
My set up is Business Objects 5.1.2 running against SQL Sever2K repository.
I would like to run a report or SQL which will list the current Command Restriction settings for every Group and User within the repository… is this possible?
Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated as I cannot find a method using supervisor itself.
I’m getting ready to post the stuff to do this in the download area. If you are willing to test my instructions, use my zip file, unzip and create the views and table required, and test the process, I’ll send it to you so you can be my guinea pig. If you’re willing, post back and I’ll send you an email.
I’m really looking for an Oracle guinea pig but I’ll keep you in mind when I finish the SQLServer version. I’ll watch my email for your address. Thanks!!
