Hi,
You may be interested in this version the Excel macros to update the descriptions of objects and classes.
I have amended it to include:
Information about the source universe e.g. name, location in the first row
Instructions tab
More error messages
Perform updates where things have changed
This has been tested with Excel 2003 SP1 & Designer 5.1.5
I have also posted it in the semantic layer area before I realised that the upload area existed.
