how to escape from Incompatible Object

Hi guys,

The first report fields are
eno,ename,dno,salary
the second record fields are
dno,dname

based on dno I have tried to use merge dimension but i don’t know why i am getting incompatible object issue.
Please explain step by step to undertand very clearly.
how to merge these two data provider into one report ?

when i can go for Auto-merge dimensions option and when i should select Extend merged dimension values?

This FAQ talks about it.

The basic reason is even after merging the common dimensions, you’ll get incompatible objects error when you try to have the objects from two different data providers into the same block.

To escape from it, you have to create detail objects for the objects of one query. Please do a search on detail object to get more information. One such is this.
