Connection or SQL Sentence error (DA0005)

Hi All,
I am getting the error(Conection or Sql sentence error: (DA0005);[Exception:DBD,ORA-00942:Table or view does not exist:N/A the following data providers have not been successfully refreshed: DMA0007 ERROR:IF)
while refreshing the reports(Freehand sql based) from Infoview but i am able to run the same set of reports in Deski.
This is happening after changing the database(usr\pwd@database)
Clarifications needed on the following points:
1–>when we change the Connection in freehandsql do we need to export all the reports in to repository?
2–>Any server side Connection change is required?
Any suggesstions or inputs plz share as earliest.

You probably need to change/add the odbc connection on the server.

I think you need to check your server side connection.

Have a look at the middleware and it’s name in the ODBC manager (Start > Settings > etc.). You might have to change something there.

All shared & personal connections (used by freehand SQL) are stored in lsi files pdac.lsi(personal connections) & sdac.lsi(shared connections).
These files can be found in documents and settings folder under application data.
Copy them to the Busobj server and you should be good to go.

HI Haider,
Thanks for prompt response.i am able to see the sdac.lsi file in the following path “C:\Documents and Settings\sysuser1\Application Data\Business Objects\Business Objects 11.5\lsi” this file is in server pc only.i didn’t get you Copy this file into Busobj Server…
Can you please tell me where do i need to copy this file into Busobj Server(path…)

I assume that the freehand SQL reports were created at a client machine, so also the connections.
By copying files I meant to copy them from the client machine to Busobj server in same path mentioned by you.

HI All,
I got the solution on the above Issue but this can be bit time taken process(I have changed the connection in Deski and exported in each and every report) still i am awaiting for any solution by changing the connection at one shot if the same problem comes in the future.
