I removed the Add-Ins from Excel, however this did not resolve the issue.

I stepped through the VB Code and it failed in the “getCategories()” sub routine at the “esession.Logoff” line in the code segment -

CleanUp:
Me.Hide
On Error Resume Next
esession.Logoff
Exit Sub

I have incomplete user list in “Usage per user”, documents list is incomplete too why:(? I change record limit few times

Try running it without dates, that way you will get all the data in your repository, the Documentor processes stats only the basis of what it’s gathered.

Make sure you’re running it for all formats, remove the dates and increase the document limit, we don’t have this problem on R3 so I don’t think it’s the environment. Other than that not much else I can say, hopefully the OP will come back to you.

Very good tool. Thanks for sharing HRS. However , I am able to work it with Xir3 but not with Xir2. I tried changing the refernces. But still not able ot login. I have both Xir2 and Xir3 clients on my machine. I will try to run this excel sheet on another machine where I have only Xir2.

I would really love to use your tool, however I am receiving a Run-time error.

Here is the error message
Run-time error ‘-2147417848 (80010108)’:
Automation error
The object invoked has disconnected from its clients.

I am using BO XI 3.1 SP2 and Excel 2003 SP3. I have Designer installed on this PC and I have all the necessary 12.0 References.

Can you help?

anyone try with SP3 yet ?

BOXI 3.1 SP3/Excel 2007 … after clicking “Get Document Details” and typing in my CMS, administrator userid, password … :

Getting: Failure in GetCategories()
VBAProject - -2147024769: Automation error
The specified procedure could not be found. 1000440

after clicking OK, i get the same error message in this dialogue box: Failure in btnExtData_Click()

@bthomps01 - yes you can use all options you have when logging on to DESKI / Designer

This utility does work with XI R3.1 sp3 and Excel 2007. I have seen similar messages when running the utility on the Windows Server itself.
Could you please confirm that you have all the client tools installed and running the utility on a client machine.

It is strange because my colleague can run it and we seemingly have the same setup. We are both running it on our own machines and not the server itself. I have all of the client tools installed and I compared libraries and add-ins with her machine to see any differences there and there weren’t any.

I got the same error and I solved it by removing the BQY add-in, exiting excel and double-click on the xls file to restart excel.
