This little piece of VBA in the excel file attached let you able, at a given frequency, to automatically query the repositories metadata and retrieve the number of simultaneous people connected. You can customize the frequency then display the number of connected people evolution on graph. By example, this tool can help you to check the number of people connected all along the day. Of course, use it at you own risk on yours SAP-BOXI / BI4 environments… Tested on BO XI 3.1 AND SAP BI 4.1 with Excel 2010/2013

Thanks for the utility. It is not working for me. When I click on run it runs but doesn’t capture anything.

Have you well

1> Activated macro at opening ?
2> Configured the Params tab with the informations corresponding to your deployment ?
3> Added VBA references as explained ?
4> Have you the ports enabled between your computer and the webi server ? (6400, 6410 ports and so on…) ?
