This excel addin helps the user to split a large list (more than 999 entries) of values (employee ID’s, 4/5/6 digit codes) into manageable lists of less than 999 values so that it can easily be used alongwith the inlist functionality of BO query filters.

Syntax = BOIL(Range,Application,Parts)

Where
Range = Range of Values
Application = DI (DESKI)/WI (WEBI) within quotes
Parts (Optional Argument) = No. of parts the original range to be broken into

Eg: =BOIL(A1:A5000,“DI”,6) or =BOIL(C1:C500,“WI”)

Final lists are copied into clipboard memory to use in any of the BO applications or to be pasted within MS Excel itself.
