AF Error AA2209

After installing BO XI and then Performance Management, without error, when I attempt to access PM through Infoview I get the following error…

Intialization parameters in initialization configuration properties file are invalid or mismatched, please contact your system administrator. AA2209
An error occurred at the server : Enterprise authentication could not log you on. Please make sure your logon information is correct.

Any ideas? Also is there a AF error message guide?

Cheers

Hi Lee. This sounds very similar to a situation that I recently encountered. Have a look in the CMC and see if you have a user called ‘PMUser’. If you do, then it’s a different issue. If you don’t, create this user, restart all of the the servers with an ‘AA’ prefix as part of their name and you should be good to go.
All of the ‘AAx’ servers use an initialisation user to start. If that user doesn’t exist in the CMC, they can’t start and you get an error. I wasn’t able to work out why the PMUser hadn’t been created - it seems to be ‘one of those things’!!!

thanks for the input. I did have the PMUser setup, so it must have been a different issue. Anyway, I reinstalled and it works OK now.

I have got exactly the same AA2209 error.
I added the PMuser and restarted all the services but still no Perfomance Manager.

How did you get this to work in the end?

I got this resolved.
Here’s what you need to do.

Logon to Infoview and Click on preferences. Go to the Performance management tab. Change the Initalization logon user option to Administrator. Click Apply, Click Ok. Log off and then log back in.
Let me know if that works for you

I have this error too.

I log on with Administrator user and I could not see the Initalization logon user option, so I could not change it.
