Has anyone else noticed that 6.x sometimes fails to remember the proper login to prepopulate the username dropdown when launching Designer, Supervisor, or Reporter? I often log in as various users and it is hit or miss whether the login dropdown will switch back to my own login as the default after I log in as myself. Two days ago I logged in as one of my users and I’ve since logged in as myself, but BO refuses to place me as the default for the next launch. I’m alphabetically first, I logged in most recently, etc. I’m deleting my .lsi but this is annoying .
Also, has anyone noticed that when you file/retrieve from/corporate documents, and toggle the ‘Open on Retrieval’ tickbox off, it is off forever? How do you get that thing to revert back to ticked once you’ve unticked it?
well it seems that there is a pattern to what the login box remembers. But I generally open Supervisor first in the morning and then it remembers from there. It does remember which ID to use in context to the Security Domain you chose tho.

Yes, of course!! It happens always, all days.
I cannot understand why if I log in with a username, the system - at the next login - proposes the username of another project, never used in the last 3 weeks. Random selection??
I wonder if it is a known bug and if they bothered to fix in 6.5 or 6.1.3? Mine always comes up with the same one, but we’re not using it heavily (6.1.b).
Yes! It’s all Dave’s fault. I unchecked the box when he was helping me run a utility program, and now it is permanently unchecked. I think of him every time I try to retrieve a document using my general supervisor id.
