Those that have been around this forum for a while will probably recognize the title of this message. There is a longstanding thread here. Well, I will be “reprising” the material at this years ASUG SABOC (SAP Analytics and BusinessObjects Conference), which will include a 4.1 version of the Excel-based security matrix :smiley: . I’ve posted both the tool and presentation material here, based on a Windows installation of 4.1 SP06 with the Explorer and Design Tool add-ons installed.

The matrix document basically contains two things:[list]A list of all possible rights, and where they are included in the default access levels.
A list of all of the default settings in a “clean” installation.[/list]

does this document include any script or code inside or is it only a template which you should fill manually?

i couldn’t see an macro, code etc.
