Went one step further & tried saef recovery option on that system & generated a BOMain.key file. Now able to login but when I try to open a report or generate a report, I can see the universes but on selecting them I get “could not import universe error”
Could you try deleting any universes on the system? We do that when we have trouble importing universes. In our case, BO thinks the universe is currently being used, therefore it cannot import over the ‘open’ file.

Facing this peculiar problem on one windows NT system. When I login to BO as any of the existing BO user, I get “YOUR LOGIN IS INVALID” error.
I copied the BOMain.key from a working system (fearing this key to have got corrupted), still the same result. Things are smooth on other systems. Hence I reinstalled BO on this system & then copied the BOMain.key, still the same LOGIN INVALID ERROR.
Any suggestions on the above please ?
