Can any one help! I was trying to open a rport/document written in desktop Intelligenc in BOXI R2 few days ago, an error message prop up “You are not authorized to use this document (FRM0008)”

There are two reason why this happens

  1. You may not have an access to the document becauase the document was created by another user and when he saved it he did not select the option for ALL users.
    Solution : Ask the creator of the document to resave and export the reprot and select the option to save it for all users.

  2. The file might have been deleted from the repository and you are not the creater/owner of the report.
    Solution: Ask your DB to reattached the report on your repository by creating a new DeskI and saved it for all users then from the CMC locate the file and overwrite it with the copy of your report.

Thanks, I created the document so applying option 2 resolved the problem.
