.xml connection to an existing dashboard

Hi there BOB forum!

I’ve created this dashboard using QaaWS connections to populate the underlying spreadsheet, it all looks wonderful and works well, however with more than about 5 concurrent users slows to a crawl because the data warehouse can’t handle it. So, if i can create a cached xml file of all of the QaaWS queries and then connect them to my existing visualization all would be great.

however, i can’t!

all i can think to do is import the xml into an xls, then import that into a new xcelsius file and start the visualization from scratch…

so, is there a way of connecting this xlm to my existing dashboard?

any help would be very much appreciated! :stuck_out_tongue:

What version of xcsius are you using? I’m on the latesest version and I can create a connection to an xml file with no problems.

using an xml document is the most stable way of supplying a model with data…

Look in the Data Manager tool New Connection > XML. All you have to do is point to a URL where the XML file is, then define a range where the data should be imported to in Excel.
