XIR2 - Recurring Instance Info Macro

I wrote this macro to be able to retrieve information about the recurring instances for Desktop Intelligence reports for a department within my company. This Excel macro is a variation on my earlier post for retrieving report statistics. I took that code and created this macro which will return information about the name of the recurring instance, who created it, which event it is dependent on, the prompt name and values, the folder path where it’s saved (if you have it scheduled to a network path) and the type (PDF/Excel).

I would consider this macro to be highly specialized (not setup for Webi/Crystal), however I believe that the code has benefit as an example for you to use and adapt to meet your needs. Specifically, the examples of how to obtain the prompt info, event info and path info are useful.

Rather than post the code verbatim, here is an overview of the logic:

1. Connect to the CMS (Thanks Julien!)
2. First Loop - Loop through all Deski reports.
2. Second Loop - Extract the list of recurring instances.
3. Third Loop - extract info on the prompt names and values and other miscellaneous attributes.

This attached excel is working fine with BO xi r3.1 , but when I tried to get information with BO xi R2. It producing error: “Access denied, you can not use old version of CMS”

Please help me…

Hello,

This is a great tool, it is really helpful to get the info.

I see one issue with it though, it is only pulling me 1000 records from the system. Is there a way to have it pull more than 1000 records ?
