We have Windows 2019 and Bo XI 4.2 sp 9 on virtual environment. Upgrading Windows 2019 to 2022, also planning to move to XI 4.3 sp 2 . After testing the same in sandbox , on virtual servers we require to upgrade for 30 clients each with a separate server. Can we opt for cloning of BO?
In my experience, no. There are too many hooks in Business Objects to the server name. I doubt you could find all the places where it needs to be updated.
