Hi, I thought this was fixed in fixpack 1.1. I saw this while using a NAS drive for the ofr and ifr
It was fixed, but I did hear that it reappeared after installing fixpack 1.3, and was again corrected in fixpack 1.5.

What a fun time we have these days with BusObj quality

Having same issue. Let me try it and let you know. Would you please elaborate on this and also appreciate detailing your experience using NAS.
Thanks

I would be interested in this. I also have the same issue. When I delete a file it is removed from the CMS but the event viewer has this error and file is never physically removed from the hard drive. I spoke with tech support yesterday and they couldn’t figure it out. They said they would get back to me, right.

It was corrected in fixpack 1.1.
What fix pack are you up to?

I have not applied any fix packs yet. I am running a test environment and I will add that fix pack today and be back with the outcome. Thanks!

I tried to install fix pack 1.1. Says my windows 2003 server needs a patch for installing large changes. In the mean time I heard back from Business Objects. They sent me a dll fix. Part of it says 'Synopsis: FRS fails to delete objects and instances on UNC Path '. Has anyone heard of this one?

Yes the MS patch has to go onto the server(s) first. I’ve not heard about a dll being needed unless of course the MS patch contains this???

The synopsys they’ve sent you is the cause of the error messages that you’re seeing in the event viewer
