hoping you guys can assist me with this one…
I need to understand the CMS clustering for the a new environment that I’ve picked up support for.
Its running BusinessObjects Enterprise XIr3.1 running on Unix.
I’m told that in the production environment, they have two servers clustered together, each running all of the BOE services.
Yet when I log into the CMC as administrator, and go to the “Servers” page, I only see one host listed
I need to be able to see the CMS configuration, to see which database each of the CMS servers is communicating with (as I believe the two servers have seperate repositories).
The CCM on Unix doesn’t really tell me much as its only a command line utility that allows the stopping and restarting of services.
The serverconfig.sh utility allows the SIA to be configured, but doesn’t show me the CMS configuration.
Have you any ideas where else I can find the CMS / repository configuration?
