Xcelsius vs. Explorer

Hi,

In our company we used Xcelsius before, now for a new project we could like to know which would be better Xcelsius vs. Explorer. Any inputs from the experts is appreciated.

They both do completely different things, so can`t be compared.

Also, both have been depreciated, Xcelsius for a very long time.

Xcelsius and Explorer support both ends by 2020. SAP support suggested SAP Analytics Cloud, but it is not clear whether SAP Analytics Cloud requires separate license like Lumira. Can you please share your experience in SAP Analytics Cloud and Lumira tool.

By depreciated, I should have clarified when! Also, flash support has been depreciated in most browsers, so no way of sharing the content anyway.

SAC needs a different license to Lumira. Its 100% cloud based and doesnt directly integrate with the rest of the SAP BI platform (apart from with Universes). Lumira wont be getting any new functionality so probably not worth focusing on that too much. That said, there isnt much you could do in Lumira 2.0 Discovery that you can`t do in SAC, and also you can now do application design in SAC (like Lumira 2.0 Designer).
