Hi Gurus,
Requirement- Create a dashboard , use live data from crystal reports. and then export it to ppt.
i used live office to get the live data from Crystal report, and exported it to ppt. When i ran the ppt it was asking for Id and Password.
Now i have to send the ppt to users , but i can not share id and password to run this ppt.
Is there any way where i can use live data from Crystal report, and send the dashboards to users in ppt,and it won’t ask the credentials.

In your Dashboard model, did you use
a Crystal Reports Data Consumer connector, or a Live Office Connector?

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
There is Live office tab in Excel sheet , from where i can connect to crystal reports, and from Data Manager i can Create Live office connection.
I am Using SAP BO Dashboard 4.0.
I am not able to find Crystal Reports Data Consumer connector, or a Live Office Connector in Dashboard.
Please suggest.

you can bypass Live Office credentials if you host the SWF in a web page.
You cannot bypass credentials when the SWF is inside a PPT.
To get a workaround, you can make a Dummy AD account that could be used for the dashboard…and share the Dummy account with all your endusers
