Xcelsius Problems

Hi,
.I have Xcelsius 2008 (sp1,fp1,fp2) installed on XP Pro 2002 system alongwith MS Office 2007. The problem is every morning I try to open Xcelsius it says that Xcelsius has encountered an error pertaining to some memory area and it doesn’t open after that.
Does any one know why this can be happening as the only solution that I’ve found as of now is to re-install it every morning.
It just makes me :hb: and :cuss: and probably words can’t explain the situation.

.Secondly, whenever I switch between Xcelsius and some other application, say QaaWS, the formula bar in the excel sheet suddenly disappears. Need to restart the application after this occurs. Though this issue is not frequent but would be glad if any solution to it can be found.

Hi,

Seems something may have went wrong with your installation.

Try re-installing the software again and also make sure that your computer meets the minimum requirements.

Also ensure you go into Ctrl + Alt + Delete and kill every instance of Excel whether or not you see it running on your desktop as it could still be running in your background.

In addition, before opening Xcelsius close down all browsers, Outlook and unnecessary processes from running.

Track your CPU Usage (by going to Ctrl + Alt + Delete) as Xcelsius opens to see if it gets stuck at 100%. If so then you need to upgrade your memory.

Thanks Guru.
I will try and see if the problem gets resolved by the solution you have given.
