Xcelsius just using one CPU core?

I just looked at the CPU load on my laptop whjile generating the SWF file for Xcelsius, it seems to max out at 50%, this laptop has a dual-core CPU.
So I am wondering if Xcelsius can only utilize a single core, although more are available? Or am I on a totally wrong track?

i don’t know if that’s a valid test? but would not be surprised if xcelsius wasn’t multi-threaded.

It’s a desktop application, it would not surprise me if it were not coded to take advantage of multiple cores. Most desktop apps (Adobe being one notable exception) don’t seem to.
