Xcelsius Dashboard bringing down Tomcat

We have two servers in the Windows 2008 64bit cluster.BOR3+SP3+FP3.6
Server1 we have Tomcat/CMS/FRS.
Server2 has Webi Processing servers.

The system has been stable for almost 2 years now. Nothing changed except that we recently deployed a Dashboard that was built with Xcelsius using Query as a Web Service(QaaWS). We noticed that after a short while of usage, it makes Tomcat unresponsive. Even trying http://localhost on the server doesn’t resolve. At that point we notice that some Webi Processing Services are using around 40% CPU though not high on Memory, if I kill those Webi processing services on the other server then Tomcat becomes responsive.

Its confusing, what is Tomcat trying to communicate with the Webi on the other server, that it makes it so unresponsive?

We have case open with SAP that hasn’t been of much help so far.

Hi-- We are experiencing the same issue. We have an intermittent issue with execution of dashboard bringing down Tomcat where the java process utilization remains high and we have to restart Tomcat. We are on BI 4.1 SP2 and using BI web services for connectivity. Were you able to find the root cause or a resolution to your issue?
Thanks!
