Hello everybody,
I’ve just installed Xcelsius 2008 trial version (30 days). I wanted to evaluate this tool’s features in order to build dashboards in coalition with BO.
In my desktop I’m using MS Office 2007 (spanish version). When I try to start Xcelsius after an apparently correct installation I get an error message saying there are problems trying to connect with Excel. I know this issue is not very clear but, has anybody ever got this kind of problems and solved them?

I sometimes get a similar issue. Opening Excel outside of Xcelsius and then opening Xcelsius with Excel still open fixes it for me.

I’ve already tried to open Xcelsius while Excel is open, but keep getting error. Now I will try to reinstall Excel and later Xcelsius…

I’ve reinstalled Microsoft Office 2007 and later Xcelsius. Still keep getting same error. Could anybody help?

Today, Ive decided to try launching my Xcelsius 2008 for the last time. Ive installed the latest fix, and applied solution from Roberto:
Start > Run > Regsvr32.exe %Windir%\System32\Ole32.dll
Guess what?!? IT WORKS !!!
