Sometime this week, I made a few changes to one of my XLF files, and now the time taken to snapshot the data has gone from a few minutes to about 3 hours.
The wierd thing is, if I go back to a version that I created before I made the changes, it also seems to take several hours. I can’t be precise on the actual length, but it’s still measured in hours.
Could my xcelsius installation be corrupt?

if the changes on the web service, then regen web services & schedule a webi instance. check & let me know

No, it’s got nothing to do with web services, I think. Same file on a co-work’s PC - snapshot saves in minutes.
Open up any other xlf file, snapshot saves in seconds.
I don’t know why this worked, but it solved my issue: open file in Dashboards 4.1, do not save file. Reopen in xcelsius 2008 and now saving seems to be almost back to normal (10 minutes to generate snapshot, not the 2-3 mins it used to take, but better than the 3.5 hours it took last week).
