I’m experiencing a quirky problem. The problem is with printing and the
orientation of axis labels in charts.
I want the x-axis labels to run vertically (e.g. when I look at trend by
month) so I go to Format Axis Label --> Alignment tab, and under the
Orientation section I select any one of the 3 vertical orientations. Then I
click OK. The formatting looks correct in the report and in the print
preview, but prints out horizontally.
Has anyone else experienced and/or resolved this problem?

Amanda, we have experienced the same problem. Our graphs printed OK using
B.O. 4.0 on an HP LaserJet 6P.
When we upgraded to B.O. 4.1, the ability to print x-axis lables
disappeared. They print horizontally rather than vertically.
I believe it is a B.O. problem, not a HP problem. I was told that the
release after 4.0 (which we don’t have) corrected that problem.
We currently run 4.0 and 4.1 on separate machines. We use 4.0 to create
and print reports with graphs.
