Write back data from Dashboard

Hi Expert,

Need your help.

we have developed a dashboard based on BEx query and we have input field an option for user to given a manual entry of data , now my requirement is that the values entered by users in dashboard need to be stored in BW. And does anyone guide me that new version of Xcelsius is of supporting macros?

Could you please suggest some idea on the same…

Xcelsius (SAP Dashboards) hasn`t had much in the way of development, you might be able to achieve something with flash\aero code, but given the security implications I doubt it.

Anyway, wouldn`t any database writeback require some kind of server side process anyway?? You might be able to do something with Design Studio Javascript triggering a stored procedure that writes back some data…
