Windows XP Tablet Edition - Web Intelligence

Our devices that are running Windows XP Tablet Edition had been working fine with our XI R2 SP2 Web Intelligence reports. In the past couple of weeks, the tablet devices have stopped working. When the user clicks on the Modify link, they get a little icon in the upper left corner instead of the Java applet for modfiying the report. The Java Console shows that no attempt was made to load the applet.

Has anyone else seen this issue?

Why not dump the applet and download it again?

Well, we tried something like that. We deleted the Java cache and tried to reload the applet, but it doesn’t get reloaded. I’m not sure what is preventing it from reloading, but it’s nothing obvious. Other ideas?
