Windows AD login is working with FQDN but not with NETBIOS

Hi,

I have configured the manual AD authentication in BO and have done all the required steps to implement SSO(manual sign on).
But when i try to login into the system it accept the user name as username@domainname.net but it doesnot accept the username as domainname\username.

Can anybody please help

my BO server is 4.1 and is deployed on tomcat 7 on windows server 2008 sp2.

If my recollection of the documentation is correct, that is the format that is accepted by the manual authentication IF the User is not in the default domain. I do not believe you can MAKE it recognize the Domain\UserName format. IF the User is in the default domain, they should be able to simple enter the UserName.
