It does not serve any purpose to have the same question asked and answered over and over and over and over again. That is why BOB has 2 ways to perform searches.
One way is to use BOB’s search - using the “Search” button on the second toolbar on the top of every page. That’s why some of us have a tag line in our signatures: Search is Your Friend. This searches a database of all non-common words that are 3 characters or more – where a period is one of the delimiters that breaks words up, and common words include words like “the” or “was” as well as BusinessObjects common words like “WebI” or “Designer”.
The other is to use the Google search - using the Google search box at the bottom of every page. This searches pages which Google has web-crawled in the past, using Google’s normal criteria for searches. One advantage is that you can search for version numbers such as 6.5.1 – which get broken up into 3 1-letter words by our forum software – and not included in the database of searchable words. One disadvantage is that if Google hasn’t web-crawled a page with a post yet, it won’t find it.
