This is the port range that you define while configuring WebI (ORB Configuration).

If you launch WebI configuration, you can note these values there.

Hy,

we have a project to integrate a Portal in our IS, Websphere. In this time, we sudy the compatibility Infoview - Websphere. I don’t succeed in finding information about the PIK or the portlet (JSR 1687 certified) provided by Business Objects.

How did you do the link between tour portal and Infoview ? Did BO provide you the portlet ? Is there anywhere a catalog, giving the portlet’s list ?

Thank’s for your answer ?

hi

here the ports will automatically detect. so no need to give any port.

here the IP Address is your local system name or Host name and the First and Last names are the IP addresses. so its not necessary to select any port, and if want to know whether the port is active or not, just click the “Test port range”. Then u come to know the status of the port.

Hope it’ll helps…

k, folks.

my question was little bit shity :flush:

i think it depends on the functionality we want to use
in BOE. so port for request from outside the server
is needed, and depending on what web apps we are
running we need addional ports (only if the web application
server (websphere) is on a different machine). there are
scenarios in bo learning guides.
