Where is business views manager in XI Edge 3?

Hi all,

I recently upgraded our XI R2 system to Edge 3.0 and I just realised that business view manager seems to have disappeared.

All my dynamic LOVs seemed to migrate over properly cos the Crystal reports still work but I’ve now got no way to modify any of the LOVs or views they were based on.

Is there now a separate installed for BVM? If so, where can I download it from?

Have you tried a custom install? I`m sure if you install client tools it should be there…

It most likely installed. In Edge the Business View manager just doesn’t exist in the start menu. Go here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86

Run this:

CrystalBVM.exe

You can make a shortcut to that .exe and put it somewhere more convenient if you like.

Thanks Clarence. I found it there. Strange there’s no start menu shortcut created for it by the installer.
