Where do we find BO event log

Hi All,

I am novice to BO Administration

Could you please guide where is the event log for BO ?

I know there is logging at

C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\Logging

Do we have anything else called Event log relevant to BO ?

On Windows boxes, the servers log events directly to the Windows Event Log accessible via Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Event Log Viewer.

The directory you have is what’s used when the -trace command line switch is used for any of the servers. When you see references to the Event Log, it is the Windows Event Log (Programs->Administrative Tools->Event Log).
