What is the difference between Scorecard and Dashboard?

I am trying to find out the difference between Scorecard and Dashboard in PM.

Within PM I think of Scorecards as the Metric List or Metrics Overview Analytics. More of a text view of your metrics. Dashboards are more visual with various analytics, including Metric List or Metrics Overview (Scorecard) Analytics.

A Dashboard can include multiple analytics, reports, or links. An analytic is a visual representation of a metric. A metric is a measure over time. These reports could be crystal, webi, or full client.

A Scorecard is intended to work with the balanced scorecard methodology. This would most likely be based off of the goals set within Performance Management using Performance Manager.

A scorecard could be one of the analytics included in a dashboard.
