Hi what is SAP BI\BW and how is it different from SAP business obejcts designer\CMC\Infor-view. If a person has experience on XI Designer\CMC\Info-view then what all other things are required to learn SAP BI\BW.

SAP BW is SAP’s solution for a Data Warehouse, called SAP BusinessWarehouse, including data modeling, ETL, pre-canned reports. etc. (called “BI content”), process chains, including multi-kabguage data and metadata and currency conversion, as well as security, etc.
SAP BI BusObjects is mainly the frontend side a.k.a reporting (Crytsal Reports, WebIntelligence, etc.), dashboards, etc.
DataServices is another ETL Tool (formerly know as DataItegrator, acquired back then by BusObjects, now belonging to SAP), which can load from any source (including SAP R3 such as ERP,ECC or oracle Peoplesoft, etc.) to any target (including loading into SAP BW or any other relational DBMS). DataServices uses a good GUI to create dataflows, easy to handle and powerful.
