As i am new to BODS for which i would like to know what is Data Profiling and Data Quality Rules in BODS.Can i get any online material help related to both these topics

Briefly you would use Data Profiling in the early design phase of a project to profile the data you will be working with. For example you can analyse data in a table to check for max min values, max length of text, number of null values etc. From this you can then define validation rules - all employee records must have a date of birth and implement these in validation transforms.
Data Quality is used to improve the quality of data that is being loaded into your data warehouse - correct spelling mistakes, standardise on names or addresses (i.e. standardise on use of UK, United Kingdom, GB, Great Britain for country)

there’s not much online resource however this link is SAPs sales pitch for data quality
A better option is to sign up to SAPs community thing and then check out examples on their Data Services Wiki.
