I’ve taken over a BO XI 3.1 installation a couple of weeks ago. The guy who originally installed XI 3.1 vanished from this planet.
Now I am wondering what he installed EXACTLY. I know 3.1 has been installed but what about the service packs and hot fixes. I’ve included a screendump of the output produced by the “software inventory tool”. Could you tell me the version of the hot fixes (if any!) and/or service packs?

Thanks. I found the file “…\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\productId” on my system and this file contains the line:
Buildversion=12.1.3.1028.BOE_Titan_FP_SP1_Rel
Well, at least SP1 seems to have been installed. The version of any additional hot fix(es) is unclear.
Anyway, if you have installed BO 12.1.3.1028 and if you know which SP and hot fixes you’ve installed, please share it with me.

Is this a Windows installation? If it is just check in the “Add/Remove” programs list. All Fix packs/SPs will be listed there. Make sure that you got the box “Show Updates” ticked…

Well, considering your version number, I would say you have XI 3.1 FP 1.3
As : second number si the SP release (here 1), the third one the fix pack release (here 3), the rest is less obvious, there is a doc called XIR3_Server_Version_List.pdf on SAP site (however I do not remind where it is hidden…) that lists all server components and their versions, accordingly to releases and fixpacks.

Have you tried looking into controlpanel -> add/remove programs as J0sh stated ?
Can you see the FP1.3 ?
