what datatype to specify for object created for an XML colum

I am working on a table with a column having XML files as content.

when i try inserting the table ,while creating the universe , the column doesn’t appears in the left pane of the designer
so i created an object of the same name in designer , under the table but i culdn’t specify object type -as XML as there was no such option ,and then exported that universe.

when i use the object in query execution–it gives error of “not supported data type”.

what data type should i specify for the column containing xml content or is there any other way of bringing that column in inserted table

I am using a table which has a column having XML files as individual row content. In universe this column is not visible on the left pane under the table name but is visible in the table diagram in right pane. I am attaching the snapshot of the universe view of table named “3rdmay Test Dbo Policyunitchanges” ,this has colum named “Content”—which has xml files Any idea of the possible issue ,obliged for the help. nidhibakshi (BOB member since 2012-05-08)
