WebIntelligence Storage Location Change

Hi all.
Have just completed the installation and setup of a test Business Objects environment consisting of Business Objects 5.1.4/WebIntelligence 2.7.
Everything is currently working fine with that.

I would like to change the storage location of users InfoView documents to another server.

So far I have tried:

  • Stopping WebIntelligence
  • Specifying a different Storage location using the WebIntelligence Setup application on the Business Objects server
  • Re-start WebIntelligence

When I log into InfoView and open/refresh a new document it appears that WebIntelligence is still reading/writing from the original <C:\Program Files\Business Objects> location, not the specified network location.
Re-starting the server makes no difference either.

I have the correct rights to read/write to the new location, I just don’t think WebIntelligence is even getting that far.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Got it.
I had to change System Environment Variable WIStorage to also point to the new location and then re-start the server.
