WebI with Unix HTTP?

Webi runs on NT, but can you have it talk with a Unix-based HTTP server? Business Objects tech support says that the HTTP server has to be on NT, but I find it hard to believe that all WebI users run their HTTP server on NT. Any info is appreciated.

Dave,

WebI today does require an NT Web Server. Customers with their main intranet web servers based on Unix-based web servers typically use hyperlinks to present their users with a single user environment. We do have a strong Unix direction for the future. I can’t say more on a public forum (and as usual, I’d like to ask other members of the forum for their discretion when it comes to talking about unannounced products or versions), but I’d be happy to tell you more in person if you’re interested.
