WEBI Session Time Out

This one has me a bit baffled. I went thought the archives but didn’t find the answer or didn’t understand the solution. There was some registry key fixes for IE but that key isn’t in my registry.

We have a report a department wants to run in WEBI that will take approximately 80 minutes. The issue is the session times out in 60 minutes.

I looked through the settings in Administrator and the only 60 minute setting I found set to 60 minutes (3600 seconds) was WIGenerator Max. Inactive time which I bumped up to 5400. We are using WEBI 2.7

My settings are
WISession manager:
Session Timeout 5400

WIGenerator
MAX Inactive Time 5400
Max WIQT active time 900
Max WIQT inactive time 300

BO Manager
Auto-Shutdown 90 minutes
Timeout for batch actions 90 minutes

Any ideas?

Hi,

if I remember correctly then there should be “Timeout for interactive actions” setting between the BO manager settings. Set this one to 90 minutes as well.

Did changing that parameter work for you Mike? That really does sound like the one you were missing.
