Webi Rich Client - hangs after being idle

Using V3.1 SP3, LDAP authentication…

My understanding is that one of the benefits of Webi Rich Client is that you don’t suffer from the dreaded timeout issue. However, we’re finding that if you leave WRC idle for some time (say 30 minutes), the session ‘hangs’, and you have to kill it and open up a new one. There is no timeout parameter for WRC is there?

Also WRC takes forever to shut down.

Does anyone else have similar experiences?

We are using XI 3.1 Edge with SSO AD authentication.

When using WRC sometimes our sessions hang. For instance, when a query is not working properly or when a user does not attend the Citrix session for a period of time. So we know of the problem also.

Does someone know if there is a way to either configure a timeout for WRC or otherwise a way to disconnect them and free up those concurrent licenses?
