Hi,
I am having a legacy system too to work on … I am having a report on a particular universe whose data when exported to excel shows a time differnce of 1 hr for each record whereas exporting to PDF gives the right data( the data displayed in universe).
I tried checking the time zone setting and all looks okay. Also, this is happening only for a particular universe reports only…
Any one any clues? Not that much hands on on the older versions

There was a clock change and but it was not getting reflected in the excel. Excel was picking up the own time stamp :)…
Got the solution but thought might save someone’s time!

sorry for the late reply. I just read this post, and it said "It is design behaviour. Items included in Header section won’t appear in Excel.
Move your blank cells(Which has refresh date, time, report name) from the Header section to body. It will appear now."
So I think maybe this is one reason.
