We are currently encountering a problem with the integration of a webi report in a custom BI Workspace.
Our client need is to display some information directly at the login screen.
We created a very simple report with the refresh on opening ticked.
We then tried to include the report in a custom BI Workspace, it worked but as you can see on “image 1” this is pretty ugly because it displays the whole webi interface.
So to solve this we tried on the workspace desisgner the option “select this report part” as seen on image 2, and the result looked exactly as we want it (image 3). But this solution creates an other problem as the report is no longer refresh on opening (and so on log in).
Does anyone have a solution on how to allow the report to be refreshed again or on how to hide the Webi tollbars we see on image 2 ?
We already tried to schedule the report but with no success, “the select this part thing” seems to be stored somewhere and never updated. The only way to update it is to open the report, refresh it and save it.
