Webi Report behaving weirdly

Hello,

I was working on a WebI report today and I got faced one problem.

There are 2 columns in the report “Exchanges” & “Rentals”
When I use filter condition object MTD (Month To Date) I get the data for all the days till date for the current month the report seems perfectly ok. But when I use filter object YTD (Year to Date) the report gives the data for all the months till date ie from Jan till Sept. But the problem is the columns “Exchanges” & “Rentals” appears 9 times spreaded horizontally giving data for all the 9 months.

It shud give the data for 9 months but it shud be vertically ie from top to bottom. Pls see the example below.

Incase of MTD:

Exchanges Rentals

Incase of YTD:

1st Col 2nd Col 9th Col 10th Col…18th Col
Exchanges Exchanges…Exchanges Rental Rentals

Hi,
Use cross tab report on time on x axis and other column on y axis

Hi Kumar,

Thanks for the reply. But the problem is I cannot apply time on X axis. It has to be on Y axis and other objects on X axis
