WEBI - Proxy Error - Reason document conatins no data

Get the above message when trying to view full-client document in WEBI.

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /wi/bin/apachewi/cookie/wiqt/queryTechnique/ExtractHtml.

Reason: Document contains no data

Document does contain data. Similar documents (e.g for a different title code) are OK… However these are smaller in size. Is there a limit on the size of a full-client document which can be viewed in WEBI. version 2.1.7.3 running on a UNIX server with Apache :?

Did the query not time out before retrieving data from the rdbms?

Hi There

Thanks for the reply. The query runs on BCA and is sent to the WEBI users inbox. This procedure works fine for other full-client reports. I wondered if there was a setting in WEBI administrator or somewhere else which would prevent larger documents from opening unless the prmtr was increased.

Many Thanks

I’m a tad rusty on that release, but have you tried to identify the problem with the WebiServer.log?
What’s your non-interactive heap setting?
How many processes do you allow - what size box …ram/cpu?

What is the non-interactive heap setting and how do you check it?

Box is large enough and I’ve checked WEBI administrator to check no. of processes etc. Looks O.K. as do the prmtr settings.

Many Thanks

This thread explains it all pretty well:
