I am trying to set some of the WebI Admin parameters in my environment.I am trying to figure out a way to use the Windows NT logon to automatically log on
to WebI. According to the admin guide there is a way to do this & it is called the NT Challenge/Response option. But even after using this option I am prompted
with a WebI logon dialog. Is there soething else other than just setting this option in WebI that I need to do to get this working ??
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you are using IIS, you will have to set the web server to use NT Challenge/Response as well. If you are using Netscape web servers, you will have to set up LDAP security.
Also, you have to synchronize accounts in the NT domain or the LDAP directory, and the BusinessObjects repository. There is no need to disable password checking, as WebIntelligence will automatically ignore the password if you have set it to NT Challenge/Response or Basic Authentication. Because you are using web server security, there is no need to check it again.

You have to disable anonymous login to your Web Server or this option doesn’t work. This is documented somewhere. I had the same problem.
